The 2021 Pegaso Barrancos de Pizarra comes from the vines on the mid slope and has a very elegant, fragrant nose with notes of concentrated violet and a solid palate. The slate tannins give a talcum powder texture, and the wine opens up in the mid-palate, making it very expansive. In the long term, it seems like the slate gives a better palate and the granite is more nose. Given the longer cycle and slow ripeness of the grapes, the wine has contained ripeness and 14.5% alcohol and is more polished and with integrated acidity. Telmo Rodríguez și Pablo Eguzkiza sunt doi oenologi care și-au unit forțele pentru a reda autenticitatea vinului spaniol, concentrându-se pe podgorii vechi și terroir-uri unice. Telmo Rodriguez Pegaso Pizarra 2021 este un vin roșu obținut din struguri Garnacha, cultivați pe soluri rare de ardezie din Sierra de Gredos. Culoarea sa este intensă, cu reflexii rubinii. Aromele olfactive dezvăluie accente florale și condimente fine, completate de nuanțe minerale. Pe palat, vinul este complex, corpolent, cu taninuri mătăsoase și un final lung, mineral. Se servește la o temperatură optimă de 16-18°C și se potrivește de minune cu brânzeturi maturate, carne roșie sau platouri de charcuterie. Un vin elegant, care impresionează prin echilibru și profunzime.
