Complex and focused with evolving layers of citrus, stone fruit, almonds and minerals. The palate builds and delivers such interest and beauty. Long. One of the top whites of Argentina. Drink or hold.

The 2019 Semillon is reminiscent of a white oak-aged Rioja, with grapes from Agrelo that fermented and matured in oak barrel for 15 months, 20% of them without topping up, which made the wine develop a veil of flor yeast. That made the wine unusually expressive and aromatic for the variety, yeasty and floral and with a light to medium-bodied palate, moderate alcohol and great freshness. It has a dry and serious finish, leaving a chalky sensation. Again, this is going to develop nicely in bottle. 3,000 bottles were filled in December 2020.

El Enemigo Semillon este unul dintre vinurile simbol ale Argentinei. Realizat din struguri Semillon din podgorii de vita de vie din Valle de Uco, vinul are o aciditate vioaie, in care parfumul de piersica este predominant. Are o culoare galben-aurie, cu note de coaja de lamaie, dar si arome de migdale. Este recomandat a se degusta la o temperatura de 8-10 grade Celsius, alaturi de preparate din pasare, peste, legume sau branza moale.
